Dear Parents,
I hope you had a wonderful winter vacation and enjoyed the
time with your families.
This past Sunday was our first day back to school. We began
the day with teffilah led by Cantor Gutman. The students really prayed with
ruach (spirit) and kavanah (meaning). It was a pleasure to hear them. We concentrated
on the Shabbat Musaf service.
In my 4th, 5th, and 6th grade
Hebrew classes we reviewed some important letter vowel combinations.
After the long break this was important. On Tuesday, we also
started our school day with tefillah led by Cantor Gutman. In our Hebrew classes,
we continued with our Hasefer reading book.
I hope you stay warm and have a Shabbat Shalom.
See you on Sunday,
Toby Schlussel
