Morah Levinson Hebrew Update

Dear 4th-6th grade families,

Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed a nice, relaxing break with your loved ones. It is great to be back in the classroom learning once again - I missed my students' sweet faces!

It is always a challenge to get the kids "back in the groove" after a vacation, but everyone quickly picked up right where we left off. Through a variety of reading games, we reviewed previous lessons as well as learned many new words. Ask your 5th and 6th graders to tell you about the "rope game" -- they had a lot of fun playing!

Beginning next week, the 4th-6th grade teachers will once again evaluate the kids' reading skills and abilities in order to ensure the best possible reading group placements. I am very proud of the progress that they have made so far, and  being in the appropriate group will enable them to continue to excel.

Wishing you all a healthy and happy 2015! Shabbat Shalom and stay warm!

-Dona Levinson
