Dear
4th-6th Grade Families-
It
was so nice to see everyone back at school on Tuesday. The kids have
their favorite Hebrew reading games and we have been trying to play as many of
them as possible. It's truly amazing how much more precise, fluent and
smooth their reading has become. They are correcting themselves and
eachother, before I even get a chance to do that. It's truly a pleasure
to see.
We
will continue reading and gearing up for the upcoming Spring holidays.
Yom HaShoa (Holocaust Memorial Day), Yom HaZikaron (Israel Memorial Day),
Yom HaAtzmaut (Israel Independence Day), Lag BaOmer and Shavuot are all coming
up and have their own unique blessings and prayers that we will be learning.
I
wish you and your family a restful and enjoyable Shabbat!
Donna Katz
