Welcome to Kitah Alef (1st Grade)
Dear Parents,
Welcome to First Grade. I am looking forward to meeting your children and having a fun and productive school year. I will send you updates to keep you informed as to what your children are learning. If you ever have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me whenever you like.
This will be my 5th year at Shaarey Zedek. I taught second grade for two years and this will be my third year teaching first grade. I am looking forward to meeting your children and teaching them the alphabet, vowels, Torah, Holidays and many more exciting things.
I will tell you a little about me so that you have some knowledge of what kind of person is teaching your children. I recently got remarried a little over a year ago. I am a mother of three wonderful kids. My son is 22 and my girls are 19 and 17. I also have two stepdaughters 21, and 16. My youngest daughter, Alexa is my assistant and she has been going to the Frankel Jewish Academy for four years now. Prior to high school, she attended Hillel Day School. She is a senior and is well educated in Hebrew studies. The kids relate very well to her as she makes them feel like she is one of their peers so they enjoy learning from her as well as myself. We are both very excited to be teaching together again this year and we look forward to meeting your children.
My email address is Tigers1984@aol.com<mailto:Tigers1984@aol.com> Feel free to email me anytime you have any questions or concerns regarding your child. Looking forward to seeing everyone opening day.
Thank you,
Lisa Dresner
